About the Game

Book of Ravine: Cliffside Maze is a browser arcade puzzle set in an ancient arcane universe. The player controls a pharaoh exploring a procedurally generated maze inside a mysterious labyrinth.

Every game is unique: the maze is rebuilt using a recursive backtracking algorithm that guarantees a solution always exists. Collect relics, avoid fire traps and find the Book of Ravine in the far corner — before time runs out.

The game runs entirely in the browser, is adapted for mobile devices, and supports touch, swipe, and keyboard controls.

Priest's Tips

Plan your route — between every pair of cells there is exactly one path with no loops.
Collect relics later — first find the direction toward the Book of Ravine, then backtrack.
Traps vanish after triggering — a passage you already hit is now safe.
Watch the timer: losing a life to time is worse than a trap — points don't return.
The Book of Ravine is always bottom-right — hug the right wall for the shortest path.
On mobile use swipe for quick movement, D-pad for precise positioning.
